Charis Kraski

Charis Kraski
joined Held Law Firm in September 2020 as the Community Organizer. Held Law Firm believes that it is important to be engaged outside the doors of the Law Firm. And as such, she is involved directly in the attorneys’ community projects; working with each attorney to achieve their goals. Held Law Firm has projects in various areas including Community Building, Adoption and Child Custody, and Mediation and Collaborative Law. Charis creates opportunities for the attorneys to make connections to those organizations that provide the services in each area, and to make an impact in the lives of the people of Knoxville and the surrounding communities.

Charis comes to us from the non-profit world, having spent most of the last 20 years in non-profits. “So, obviously, I love helping people!”

Charis has jumped right in. As the Community Organizer, she is involved in community building herself putting together projects and campaigns, working with and getting to know the many partners we have on our projects. All of this in order to affect change for those in the focus area.

Charis is on the frontline answering phone calls, doing client intake, making consultation appointments with the attorneys, and following up with contracts, and agreements, and tracking social media and internet activity. She also writes and keeps the Blogs on the website up to date, as well as posts on social media.

Charis graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BS. in Education in Dance. She has had a career as a dancer and actor, spending much time on stage performing and off stage choreographing and directing. Being the Community Organizer at Held Law Firm has given her an opportunity to use her creative spirit again.
