TN Supreme Court Honors Margaret Held
Sunday, October 21st, 2018
In recognition of Attorney Margaret Held’s exemplary pro bono service in 2017, the Tennessee Supreme Court has honored her with the title of 2018 Attorney for Justice.
Last year, Margaret provided more than 50 hours of pro bono service to clients who couldn’t afford the fees associated with legal services. Held Law Firm is committed to assisting those who aren’t able find the funds for legal costs, requiring all attorneys to maintain a certain number of pro bono clients at all times and offering recommendations to other resources for those we are not able to serve. This is part of Held Law Firm’s commitment to serving the community we’re part of.
Margaret has recently received several other generous recognitions, including:
- Acknowledgment by the American Registry as one of America’s Most Honored Professionals, a title awarded for continuous professional recognition (an accomplishment realized by the Top 10% of American Professionals).
- Inclusion on the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys’s list of “10 Best Female Attorneys” for Tennessee.
- Invitation to membership in the The National Advocates: Top 100 as a 2017 National Advocate in Tennessee.
- Recognition as a Patriotic Employer by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR).
We’re incredibly lucky at Held Law Firm to have Margaret as our founding attorney and the firm’s fearless leader. Congratulations on your most recent honor, Margaret!
