1995 - Tennessee Bar Association IOLTA Fellow. Our firm designed the Community Microloan Program, which provides commercial financing and advice to new businesses.
1996 - Equal Justice Fellow, National Association for Public Interest Law (NAPIL). Our firm was recognized for designing innovative solutions to problems faced by small businesses, neighborhood organizations, and poor people working to redevelop blighted areas.
1997 - Harvard Civil Rights Civil Liberties Law Review. Our work was published for revising the local public housing authority's lease to allow home-based businesses.
1998 - Annie Selwyn Award for outstanding advocacy for women in the workplace.
2002 - Tennessee Industrial Renewal Network (TIRN). Our firm was awarded the "Legal Eagle Award" and "Founders Award" for our leading role in the Living Wage Campaign, designed to raise wages and decrease reliance on public benefits. |
